My pet store has silkworms, hornworms, mealworms, superworms and waxworms. I really don't like the whole cricket thing, and i live in a place too cold to raise dubias. So what worm would be best as a replacement for crickets and how many would my 6-7 inch long dragon need to eat a day?

Small superworms would be a good replacement and so would reptiworms/phoenix worms. I use small supers for my juvies. You need to start off slow though. Some beardies will gobble them up quick and end up throwing them up. I would start off with 3 - 4 per day, and then gradually increase.

Here is a good website to buy them:

I'm not sure if you have a facebook, but there is a place I buy my reptiworms from that are $30 shipped for 1/4 lb, and there are a ton in there..

NEVER feed mealworms.Wax and Hornworms are more like Dragon Candy so you can use those as treats. If you wanna feed superworms you should wait until your Beardie is at least 16" long. Silkworms are perfect as staple.(Same with Phoenixworms)

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
