What to feed????

Hello All,

So my Beardie has finally come out of hiding. I really do hate this part of having a beardie because basically i don't have a pet for over a month. Yes she will go into this brumation mode for 1 - 3 months. So my question is she just came out yesterday is there anything that i should feed her since she hasn't eaten in over a month (Just so you all know i have tried to feed her everything during this time but she wont eat or poop just sleeps and sleeps and sleeps happened last year too). So if anyone can help me that would be great.

My old guy has been down since October and has finally resumed activity. He isn't eating well yet and doesn't want any Dubia or leafy greens, but has started taking a little grated yellow squash and small slices of watermelon every few days. I think he is FAR more interested in finding a girlfriend than he is in eating right now.

I have only had my beardie for a month and just picked up my second today and I have found out that schredded carrots work really well. when I throw carrots in with his greens the all dissapear.

Well maybe go a bit easy on protein for a few days, but other than that any of the normal stuff should be fine.

I think I read that carrot's aren't good to feed beardies. At least not a lot.

They are okay a couple of times a week, but too much can cause Vit A poisoning.

Thanks everyone she has been eating lots of greens and some dried food will start give her some crix and supers when becomes a little bit more active. thanks
