what to feed in the winter?

so now that it's winter and my garage is really cold im struggling to keep crickets alive longer than the first few days without a HUGE die off (i order 1k at a time) and so i was wondering what most other people feed their beardies in the winter? iv been feeding aspen greens mixed with these meaty bites http://www.petsmart.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2754880&f=PAD%2FpsNotAvailInUS%2FNo.

so i basically was wondering if most people still feed their beardies crickets or insects in the winter or do they mostly go on a veggie-ish diet? (someone else another time told me to get dubai's but im not familiar with growing a colony and they are stupid expensive in bulk)

Well, 2 of my scale-babies are down in deep brumation and haven't eaten in a couple of months.

Q still gets her normal diet of Dubia and Greens, although even she slowed down a lot on her appetite.

I keep my Dubia in the basement, so it's cooler, but nowhere as cold as a garage gets. That may not
work as well with crickets though, due to the odor and the noise.

You might try adding (or increasing) the heat you're providing them via a heating pad or ceramic heat
bulb to try and keep them warmer and alive longer.

Live and canned crickets + greens until the weather warms up to ship Reptiworms. Haven't seen much of anything else except superworms which mine is too small for and mealworms(nope)
