Hello everyone! So this last April my little buddy celebrated his 12th birthday! Wondering if anyone else has an older beardie and what kind of foods they are eating and on what schedule?
My fellow (although I'm certain he's female, I've been using male pronouns for so long that it's hard to stop) currently gets a mixed green salad with a bit of squash (whatever is in season, with the occasional treat like a flower or fruit) every day, and crickets about 3-4 days a week a few at a time as much as he will eat in a sitting. I supplement his salads with repashy superveggie, and very occasionally dust the crickets with repashy low D calcium supplement.
The past few years his appetite for crickets has decreased, but he does eat his salad until he's full. I found a pet store close to where I live that can order me in phoenix worms and silkworms, so I'm going to give those a shot when they arrive in a few weeks. I haven't read a lot of information about bearded dragon nutrition and feeding at such an old age, so any input is great
