Hi
Well first and most imprtant is to find out why he had the impaction in the first place so you can avoid it in the future.I am going to ask you a few questions to see if we can figure that out:
How old is he?
How ling is he?
How long have you had him?
What type of substrate is he on?
What are you feeding him and how often?
What type of vitamins/supplements are you giving?
How often?
What are the temps in his tank?
How and where are you measuring them?
Are you using uvb?
If so what kind(be specific)?
I would make sure he stays
hydrated so daily baths for a while is a good idea.I would also make sure not to feed him any hard chitin feeders until your sure he is pooping normally on his own. Also keeping him on a rice sock at night is a very good idea/What you do is take uncooked rice and fill a sock with it and tie a knot at then end then warm it in the microwave until its nice and warm but make sure it isnt too hot.Wrap him and the sock in a blankie when its time to go to bed. This will keep his belly warm for a few hours while he is at rest and will help his digestion. It may also be a good idea th get him on a probiotic like acidophilliz, benebac or soy yogury(no dairy).
