What to add on sides of tank?

I just today received and installed the background on my tank, which I personally think is beautiful and I believe my bearded dragon does as well. Although he has tried to climb it probably thinking it is real, I hope he no longer stares at his shadow and tries to climb the glass. He still does this on the sides which don't have anything and I was wondering what you guys would recommend. I don't want another picture, but rather some other material that I can install. It can go either inside or outside the tank. Although price isn't the final decision in which I end up using, the less expensive the better as long as it is safe.

I'd simply line the bottom 6" of the sides with printer paper sheeting. This will stop the dragon from seeing it's own reflections which can be very upsetting to dragon , especially a male who will see the reflection of itself and try to scare it away and may even attack it.

I will install those tonight but I see that as more of a short term solution, as it is not very aesthetically pleasing. I'm looking for a more long term solution that both looks nice and covers the entire side (which is 21 inches tall and 18 inches wide).

Build a front opening timber tank , problem solved and MUCH MUCH better than a petshop glass tank.

Unfortunately, building a tank is not an option for me right now.
