He doesn't like to bask, whatsoever.
He will by all means hang out on the cooler side and will NEVER bask, I'm very worried because I don't want him to get sick if he isn't getting the proper UV..
His cooler bulb has UV in it but I thought basking was like a requirement for dragons..
I've tried to switch the bulbs on him, when he's just hanging out on his hammock on the cooler side, I'll switch the bulbs so that he's basking, but he will immedietly run to the other side and his other hammock and stay on the cooler side
It's driving me nuts!
I'm worried he won't grow properly or I'm afraid he will get MBD.
He eats normal, I do dust with calcium powder, and his basking temp is 100-105, his cooler side is 85-90.
Is this normal for dragons to do this? When I'm done feedimh im I'll put him on his stick under his baskign light but he will quickly jump off and run to the cooler side! What is up with that I know when they bask it makes them digest their food, and when I DO put him in the light he'll have a bowel movement. But he just wants to stay on the cooler side, never ever ever will he go to his basking side.. I just don't get it.
