What size supers?

Hey all just curious as to what size supers to feed to my 17 inch beardie. Ive noticed that they are pretty long when ive been to petco for the medium and large containers. My only worry is the space between the eyes rule. Does that still apply after the 16 inch mark after their digestive track straightens out? Just want to be able to give him something other then crickets as a feeder (roaches are a no go due to the girlfriends bug phobia).

hes good. shedding his tail. a little upset because he didnt really want to eat yesterday. i think its cuz of his basking bulb. its was on 105F. i bought a new one n put it in n it gave me 113.7F. he gapped immidiately, i never saw him gape until i switched it.

Huh thats weird. Was it the same type of bulb? I just use a dimmer switch on mine with a higher wattage bulb. So I can regulate his temps easier. Especially with winter around the corner and the temps shifting back and forth its made my life easier. Sometimes my temps get to 110 and other days it wont even get to 103 at the same setting. I got the dimmer switch for about $12 at target in the lighting area.

dts nice. imma check dat out. i switched from a 75w exo terra sun glo spotlight to a 100w exo terra sun glo incandescent. it gives me perfect temps.

Well there goes my cricket stench problems erased in a few feedings of supers to Mushu. He has never jumped and ran after a cricket like that before that I have seen.
