What size silkworm?

Since we do not have silkworms at any of our pet stores Im going to ordering over the net. My beardy was hatched I believe the end of Aug. I would say he is about 8-9 inches but the tip of his tail is missing so he would be longer. what is the right size silky for him. Would it be the same as the space between his eyes like it is for crickets?
