She got the enclosure question, so I'll take handling.
I make a point of handling all my dragons at least once a day, usually for an hour or so, but I spend a little time talking to and petting each of them even if I don't have time to take them out and play. Taking them outside is fine, if it's not a particularly nice day (75*+) I would limit it to only a few minutes under your coat or sweater. I've taken Gibby out for several hours at a time and he's fine with it, but he's older and very calm, I wouldn't subject my more excitable girls to extensive wandering. People WILL come up to you and want to talk to you about them and touch them and it can be to much for some dragons. I make a point of wearing something to cover Gibby once he's had enough. (And if they haven't pooped that day, you'll want to think about putting a towel under them if they're on you while you're out) Just taking them out and letting them explore your yard (On a leash) can be fun, but you have to make sure they don't eat anything!
