What is this hanging out of vent.

I went to take Toa out today and noticed something hanging out of his vent I gave him a bath and very gently brushed at it with a soft toothbrush to see if it would come out. It didn't move so I didn't want to mess with it if it's still... Attached..?

Any help is appreciated. I can try to get him into his vet tomorrow if you think it's necessary.

Looks like a sperm plug. Perfectly harmless.

It should get passed out with some poo after not too long.

Awesome! I didn't think I would ever be happy to hear something was a sperm plug! :lol:

Is there a point where I should be worried? Say if it doesn't pass in a few days?

If it gets bigger and poo covered a bath and some tissue can help coax it out. I'm not sure if there is any danger doing this yourself or not though? Maybe someone can chime in. Check out this article for more, but its kinda gross. haha. http://www.anapsid.org/seminalplugs.html
