So Gorbash scared me this morning.
Last night he went to sleep in his cave which he's never done before. He usually sleeps either on his basking log, or under it. I turned his lights on as normal at 7:30 and went to check on him at about 8:30 like normal to bath and feed him and he had lifted his head but otherwise hadn't moved. Usually he will have moved to his basking spot.
I took him out of his cave and he was very cold and grey and not moving much. I put him in the bath to warm up and his color returned and he perked up. He also pooped in the bath (yay!) and I put him back in his tank and he moved to his basking spot. I then tried to feed him crickets and he ate only one and ignored the others. Usually he will eat 10-12 in the morning.
It was very cold in our room last night. The temp was 58F when I woke up this morning but he has a 100W CHE. Did he just get too cold in his cave? I'm going to try feeding him again in an hour or so and see if he's more interested once he's settled down.
