What else can I feed?

I have a bearded dragon that is a little over 1 yr. old. I've been feeding mostly crickets. I fed phoenix worms for a while, but as she got bigger it seemed to really take a LOT of phoenix worms, and there were a lot of undigested ones in her stools. The crickets are fine, but it is hard for me to find very big ones. Now, my bearded dragon is not as big as a lot of adults are. I would need to measure to know for sure, but I'd say maybe about 15 inches now. Is it okay for her to eat superworms? I saw some at Petsmart and they looked pretty big. I would like to find something filling, to make feeding easier (i.e. - less insects per feeding).

You can use Supers as a semi staple. Meaning you can offer 2-3 worms 2-3 times a week. Have you considered tropical feeder roaches ? You can order bulk amounts, house and allow them to grow, and breed in a sterlyte container, providing essentially free food.

You have to be careful with large superworms when they are under 17" (I think). My dragon Calypso loved the supers but became impacted when I fed them to her when she was only 15" long. If you try them, go slowly, only one or two per feeding at first. Make sure she is well hydrated too.

As for other feeders, hornworms and silkworms are softer so can be fed, but they are hard to find unless you buy online.
Also keep adding greens and veggies.
