What do I do with dry food?

My mom bought me a sampler pack of food for Mari from PetSmart as a gift but unfortunately it’s all horrible for reptiles. (Canned bugs, dry food, canned papaya that looks artificial, and some supplements that I already have because I’m a good pet owner who does their research.)

Anyways I was wondering what I should do with the dry food. Is it good fertilizer for plants or possibly good for use as mulch for my tropical plants in my bedroom? Mari gets fresh veggies and live bugs as they are the best for her and provide all of her hydration so she doesn’t need the junk filler food for lazy pet parents. I don’t want to throw it away as I feel like it has some potential use other than feeding a live animal, but im not sure yet.

That is a great question.....I have never purchased those before. What are the ingredients
of them? I suppose you could probably grind it up to use in with some plant food, perhaps.
I am sure your mom meant well though.
If I think of other ideas, I will let you know!
