what can i use for substarte?

i really want to use sand but i dont want my bearded dragon to get impacted?so what ka ni use ,as of right now i am useing newspaper but i want sand i use to hae calicium sand an it was white but i took it out but i want sand in my drgons enclosure help here don know whatmy oppitons are?

zilla makes a great substarte that is a reptile carpet. I work at petco and we have all differnet sizes, and colors of it. My beardie loves it and its perfectly safe, washable and looks good in the habitats. From what I've heard at work and doing research on my own sand isnt a good idea until they are adults.

I have ceramic tile from Home Depot. $0.80 a square. Super easy to spot clean too, I use baby wipes to clean up.

We have been using sand in our Bearded Dragon Enclosure and Have used Sand before for years in other BD Enclosures with no issues with impactions, some use slate, tile etc. so it is pretty much up to you.

We use the non-adhesive shelf liner. Very inexpensive, like $3 a roll at Walmart or Target. Comes in a variety of colors and patterns. Beardie loves it, looks great and super easy to wipe clean.

i use to you the zilla repti cartpet but my bearded dragon would pooop on it to much so i decided to put sand he is an adult in a 75 gallon tank but i have him on newpaper right now kan i use the green grass that fake ?
an what kind of tile kan i use ?

for my baby beardie i use carpet, but i think im goin to get tile because i think it will be easyer to clean.
my friend has 2 leopard geckos and they have beed on sand for years and never had a problem so i thnk a bearded dragon would be ok wen it is grown up, NOT A BABY. u can also use shelfliner, paper towels, tile, newspaper or carpet hope i helped good luck man
