My bearded dragon eats lots of veggies, so he has diarrhea quite often. I recently switched from crickets to superworms because our crazy ant infestation just kept killing them. So far the superworms haven't had a problem with the ants, and my beardie loves them. I started off slow, and his poop hasn't changed much. His veggies include mustard greens, dandelion, kale, cilantro, parsley, butternut squash and sometimes bell pepper. Those aren't daily it all just depends on what my local store has available but it's generally a combination of those. I usually always try to have either mustard greens or dandelion and just add the rest as variety. I tried eliminating the squash since it's so watery, but he still has diarrhea. I want to put a new substrate in his cage that allows him to burrow, but it will be so difficult to clean that I haven't put it in yet. Every time he poops I pretty much have to clean his whole tank because he will step in it and get it everywhere. Any tips on what I should try feeding him to help? He had diarrhea while eating both crickets and superworms so I'm pretty sure it's the veggies. He is healthy and happy. Energetic, eats good, sheds completely, gets baths every week, loves to explore the house. So I don't think he's sick, but if it does sound like he is sick you can comment that below as well. Thanks!
