What ARE you thinking, Dragon?!

"What?" I ask my dragon, Evalyn.... after all, she's the one who's scratching her cardboard hide for my attention. She looks at me innocently and cocks her head to the side as if to say 'are ya gonna let me out?' I sigh, roll my eyes and turn back to the TV in my room.

*FFFFTTT*

"What?!" I ask her again, and the same routine. Only this time, I lean forward a bit, as if to reach toward her terrarium to let her out. She turns around with her back to me and seems interested in the color of my wall on the other side of the plexi-glass. :roll: I turn back to the TV again.

Moments later, I can feel the daggers staring into the side of my head. I slap myself on the forehead and look to my beardie-- sure enough, she's looking at me venomously over her shoulder as if to say 'Let me out now, woman!' :?

I lean forward and touch the handle of her sliding glass doors. She whips around so she's facing me and gives me the blackest beard I've seen her give. I blink at her for a moment, then slowly retreat to my seat and watch her from there. Her beard goes down almost immediately.

I turn back to the TV.

*ffft ffft ffft*

the other day draco was waiting by where i put his veg, so i went tot he kitchen, got him some veg and went back. still waiting as soon as he saw the veg he ran off, so presuming he didnt want it atm i put it down and shut the door. the moment the door shut he raced to the glass looking like he wanted to come out, then as soon as i opened the door he raced off again. this happened about 5 times until i gave up and when i went back he gave me the full beard, gaping mouth and everything.

Lol I'd be like "Grrr.... five more minutes!" :lol:

Now Evalyn bangs her head on the plexi-glass and seems to get amused when I go 'Don't do that, you're going to hurt yourself!' in a scolding-yet-concerned voice. Now I've learned that it means 'Let me out NOW, Mommy.'
