what age can they eat mealworms

Hi all. My beardie is 6 months old now. I changed his uv lighting and his food intake has increased dramatically! Where he used to eat about 10 crickets a day, he's now up to around 30 +. The PetSmart people where we get our crickets keep telling me to get mealworms for him, but I've read on here that they aren't good for babies. We don't have reptiworms anywhere in our area (in fact no one knows what I'm talking about when I mention them!). So at what age can a beardie start to eat mealworms, superworms, or whatever other worms PetSmart sells? And is only reptiworms good for them? Thanks!

Dont ever feed them mealworms, they are useless and can impact your dragon. And dont listen to people from petco and petsmart they usually never know what theyre talking about and are only there to get you to buy from them. Superworms shouldnt be fed until theyre about 16" long. If you want reptiworms get them from reptiworms.com, theyre fairly expensive but an excellent staple since theyre naturally high in calcium. Reptiworms can be fed at almost any age, and you should be able to start off on larges if you decide to get them.
