What a great first impression..

So I started my first day of high school yesterday, it was pretty good! But I didnt have a very good start with the assitant principal! I went the day before to get my schedule, and I had to walk down there because my mom was working, and I decided to bring Elvis along. This was our convosation:
her: "is that thing real"
me: "yes, this bearded dragon is very real."
her: (sarcastically) "well isnt that just great"
me: "yes he is great, isnt he!"
Then I got a disguted look and she walked away. Ha!

Well, I really dont care if she doesnt like me and thinks I'm some kinda weird lizard girl. I just found it funny, my friend who was with me was laughing her butt off! :lol:

yeah that was what i did when i was in school. i brought my pet bird and sugar glider to class and a ton of ppl thought i was weird. but who cares what they think right! lol

Try hunting down a Bio. Teacher, they usually have all kinds of cools stuff I teach Biology and Physical Science. I have a Ball Python that I keep in my classroom, have even fed him in front of my classes too, and I also wander around the school with him around my neck (it is a WONDERFUL way to keep unwanted people out of my room). I've also had Sugar Gliders in the past and had them out in my classroom and would wear them in their pouch around the school. I don't have a Beardie yet but I'm looking forward to having him as part of my classroom too!
