Went window shopping, question about item.

I decided to go look and price items today at my local petsmart and petco. Want to get an idea of how much upfront we will be spending. I came across an item that I was not sure about but could see it being something that could work to help keep nails short. In question is zoo med natural forest tile background. If no one know what it is when I get home Ill find a link to it. It has a bark feeling to it. I don't think I would use it as a background but put it on the floor. Not cheap so I doubt I would use it to cover the whole floor, maybe half and then the rest tile. Im new to this and I am just trying to see if its something that could work for a beardie.

Have an idea of what you are talking about but would be cheaper to probably just get some slate or other textured tile. You can find them on clearance most of the time or if you know someone in construction might be able to get a few tiles for free. I was lucky that my dad works for a company that does tenet fit outs (guts everything then makes it what the new person wants) so he come across a ton of stuff. Sometimes it pays to ask if they are throwing any out that might be damaged. Most the time it's like just a corner is chipped that could simply be smoothed and used but they can't sell it. Tell em what your making and they tend to help out

Ok thank you! Was just wondering about it and if the tile is cheaper overall I think I'll stick with that.

i would just use tile too, i started with reptile carpet, but its a pain to keep clean. tile has been awesome. when i first started shopping for beardie supplies i listened to the pet store. after a few more nights of research and a visit here, my total quickly climed over 200$ without the dragon. but my extra expense has led to a much healthier happier dragon.

yea you would be spending around 200 bucks

if you go to the pet store and listen to them it would be 140 or so

same for me until i came here my cost was cheap then added up as the pet store left out detail smh
