Went Outside first time and HE FLIPPED...

Took my lil dragon outside today to see the outside world. Needless to say it's totally apparent he has never seen the outside world before. He was perfectly fine until the door open and the sunlight hit him. He went immediately flat and as I got further outside he started jumping out of my hands. I was catching him in mid air to break his falls. Needless to say I got to devise a better way to show him the world.

Maybe we should take a page from the cats book and sit him on the window sill.

Strange the different ways they react to the outdoors. The first time I took mine out he just froze and didn't move at all for about 10 minutes. He still does it, though for shorter periods of time now, lol.

Mines goes extremely black and runs like 30 mph ( joke ) out of my hands they run so fast when their outside i usually box them into a 10x10 range.

HAHA these make me laugh!!!!

When we first took ours outside, she turned all black and had the exorcist head thing going on looking for birds...not a pretty sight!!!

She only could handle very small doses at first, now she's up to an hour or more depending on if there's wind. she hates wind. She must think it messes up her scales or something

Haha yes mine will blow up real big beard shoots out and mouth drops and sort of bends his body to which ever way the wind is blowing.
Some times he will he do his famous push ups to show the wind who's boss but eventually he just gets terrified hahahaha :D

My poor man runs up to my neck and hides. Cars and birds are VERY scary. He doesn't realize yet that I'd beat the crap out of anything that tried to get him. :)

Bevo waits until I set him down with his leash on then darts for the nearest tree. When he gets to the end of the leash and realizes he can't go further he puffs his body up like a balloon and lays there until I pick him up, set him down then he does it again lol I set him on a tree sapling we have after a while and he relaxes and seems to enjoy staring at the dogs in the backyard, or rather mocking them while they whine lol

They definitely funny and wary up while outside. I guess you can equate that to being pinned butt up in a prison shower.

GET ME THE HELL OUT OF HERE.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
