Ok so, in my defence, I did it for the beardies.
That being said, here is the story.
I was having "one of those days" where NOTHING was going right. I should have known when I spilled my first cup of coffee that it was going to be a bad day. Kiku was completely out of PWs. I ordered some tuesday night. They should have been here this morning. So I waited on the mail to get here.She came. NO PWs ! Needless to say, I was a bit, irritated. Cause my baby had no worms, AT ALL. Now Im getting a dirty look from one hungry lil dragon.
So I thought I could just go down to Petco and get her some worms from there. So I fix me a glass of tea to take with me. I get going down the road , and low and behold , I SPILL IT EVERYWHERE ! So im beyond irritated at this point and im falling into ANGRYVILLE.
So I turned around and went back to the house ( I wasnt far away) and cleaned it up.So finally I get to the pet store, still trying to find my calm, I go in and guess what I see?? About 9 beardie babies , in the same cage, VERY tiny. ON RED SAND !!!! That was the straw that broke the camels back. 
I walked up to the counter and asked for the manager. She went to get him right away. he came back and asked if there was a problem. I said "yes , there is a BIG problem. Bearded dragons, ESPECIALLY babies, should NOT be on sand of ANY kind. Those babies are stained with the sand and one has his eye gouged out and they look AWFUL! No one is gonna want to buy them looking like that." I said " They eat the sand, and just because it has calcium in it doesnt mean its good to use. It causes impaction and acts like cement in their lil bellies. You may not see the effects of it here , but when they are sold , they could die and thats awful for a new bd owner, especially after they buy all the stuff to make its home." Then I told him..." and thats another thing, I can get this Reptisun 10 online for $17 , You are robbing people charging $49.99 for it!" I told him .." the reptiglo will kill them too so stop pushing them on people that dont know any better." I told him he ought to be ashamed for trying to sell bd that are in such bad shape. I told him that he should require his employees to research the animals they sell. :study:
I said my peace and felt better about standing up for the BDs.
He assured me he would take care of it and then offered me a job. LOL! :shock:
oh yeah, I had to choose between mealworms and superworms, So I opened them up to see which was softer and it was the mealworms, so thats what she is eating today untill my PWs get here , and they better come tomorrow.
So that is what I have been through today...and its only 1pm!
