Weirdest thing your beardie has eaten?

I am finding only conflicting information, with others insisting they aren't affected, others that they are affected but less than mammals. Birds though, which are a subset of reptiles, aren't affected. But that doesn't rule out that some reptile groups will be affected. Paradoxically few scientific studies have been done on the topic.

My friend's bearded dragon snatched a bite of a muffin once lol he was okay, didn't get sick or anything.

Probably a little green cube of cricket food that accidently fell into his tank. He ran right up and ate it before I could do anything. Haha i freaked out a bit

But I really came here to say that Stanley has taken to harassing couch pillows and fleece throw blankets. Both the fuzzy soft type fabric. He just runs right up and attacks it like it owes him money.

Today, Dodi ate something really out of the ordinary! I had just left the house to do some shopping and while I was gone...

evidently, my wife opened the window near the viv and a little lizard came in from outside. My daughter saw what was happening and let out a scream! my wife showed up in time to get these pics on her phone... (don't mind the mess in there. Dodi is messy with her salad and has been shedding and it's cleaning day...)

I was really worried that she could hurt herself eating something that big! She seems completely normal though. I cleaned the viv just now and fed her some crix and fresh salad and she ate normally before going to her basking spot. I suppose all is well, for the bigger lizard anyway...

I've been reading up on house geckos. You can get them as feeders (or a fabulous way to control pest infestations). They're about $40 for a dozen. I'd let them run around, I'd have to feed them of course, and perhaps the cat would have a very interesting several days, but it's just cool. And seeing your pics makes me wanna expand their diets even more tho they're a bit pricey for me. But it's neat!

Todd will eat anything shiny, and she almost ate one of my earrings! She also ate a piece of her plastic plant :lol:

My 6 year old niece came to visit and she loooooved my beardie. She loved taking him out and holding him!! Well she had him on the table while she was eating spaghetti and chicken, and she accidentally dropped some chicken and spaghetti on the table and he ate it!

I put a wax worm on the lid of the tub and after eating the worm Bilbo tried to eat the bright yellow plastic lid, was amusing so I made a video

This is probably terrible of me, but I like to let Leland taste different foods. I never let him eat it, just a lick, mostly sweet or salty things, like a potato chip or piece of candy. So far he hasn't really had an opinion on anything other than a banana taffy. He tried to climb my arm to devour it.
