Weird Spot on Bearded Dragon

I've had my bearded dragon for about 3 years now. Recently I've noticed this patch of scales with what I thought was covered by shedding. I didn't want to just peal it off obviously, so I've left that spot be. It's been a few weeks and he has soaked in water, and the patch is still there. Whenever I pull back the shedding, it is kind of hard and it looks like it's covering something black on his skin, it almost looks like a hole. Does anyone know what it might be?

Nope go to the XIMG at the top of the message box click if its uploaded it will show up there click on the pic

Yes that is what you need to use to upload then go to the message box that your posting click on the XIMG at the top of this box your pics will come up you have downloaded click on that pic it will come up in the message box w/ a bunch of letters / numbers etc thats your pic when you hit post it should come up as the pic

Whatever came of this? Did it heal naturally? Did you speak with a vet?
