So recently Haru has been eating strangely to put it bluntly. It's almost like she's binge eating? On her normal schedule, she eats crickets twice a day and greens she'll munch on throughout the day. Now she only eats crickets during the morning feeding and refuses them later in the day. She's also eating way more crickets during the morning feeding than she did before. Her average cricket consumption averages between 15-30 crickets a day and she usually seemed to balance it between feedings. Now she eats 20 or so crickets in the morning and won't touch them after that. She'll also sometimes ignore her greens depending on if she eats crickets first. It's not like her schedule has changed so I don't know what's up with her. Could she just be tired of what I'm feeding her? She's not acting like there's anything wrong and she's still gaining weight she's just going against her usual routine. Is there any way to get her back to her old routine?
Also I recently got her a log for her to climb on and hide under. When I first introduced it to her, she started biting at it like she thought it had food on it or something. It shows me that maybe she is still hungry and is getting stubborn? I have tried introducing more veggies and fruits to her, but anything that isn't a green so far she has refused to try. She used to enjoy green beans, but seems to no longer like them. Although I haven't tried giving her any sort of squash yet... I'm afraid I'll buy it and let it go to waste if she doesn't eat it since I don't like squash myself. Any tips on how to get her to try things other than just greens?
Also don't know if this is a factor, but she hasn't had a shed in a while. Her body looks dull in some lighting, but it's hard to tell if there's a shed coming on. If she is dull, her whole body is dull so I have nothing to compare it to.
