Weird discolored spot on beard?!?!

well, to be honest, he was never an especially healthy lizard I got him off craigslist ( i know, dumb idea, but its done now) and his previous owners were really terrible. I think he is slowly getting healthier. But yeah, he's been acting no different, and he doesnt react like it bothers him in any way.

Yeah he doesnt like baths, although hes been getting used to them since i got him. The bath didnt have any effect on his spot, but a few scales are starting to shed along the edge, so we hope it will go away. Otherwise he is still the same old Mushu!

Yes, unfortunately, it is. It hasnt grown at all, thank goodness, but the toothbrush hasnt had any effect. Were still hoping itll leave with his shed...

definitely try the fungal cream, but it also could be a bacterial skin infection. if he starts acting sickly, take him to the vet for sure! i just dealt with a strange skin thing with my little female; she had some odd spots on her body (back leg, chest, front armpit, jaw, eye area, back of head) that ended up turning into "crusty lesions" (that's what the vet called them). they seemed to respond to fungal cream, but returned. at her vet visit, she was given an antibiotic injection (good for 12 days), & all her spots disappeared/shed off in the next week! she no longer acted sickly or was uncomfortable being touched, & she put the weight back on that she had lost. they gave her a second injection (good for 10 days) when i returned for a follow up vet visit. her skin looks perfect now, & she's back to her old self. i hope your beardie is OK & doing well!
