Weird dark spot on the spine/back

Hi! I noticed today that my beardie is having a weird spot on the back that I think she doesn’t like when I touch it. She’s getting flat when I try to touch her on that spot. It kinda looks like a shedding process but a little bit darker then usual. Please let me know what you think

That is an odd looking area. Did it just crop up recently?
It may be a burn possibly, just how close can she get to her basking light?
Do you have any aloe vera gel you could put on that or a silver gel?

Yeah it showed up yesterday but it looked like this only when she’s asleep.
The basking lamp is on the higher level so I don’t think so, but I’ll try silver. Is it save for her?
