Weird behavior

I've tried to search online and in the forum but I haven't had any luck. Sometimes early in the morning or right after my beardie eats, he'll go sit on his hammock and he'll continuously puff up his beard. It's never black. He has never shown any signs of aggression towards me but almost everyday he puffs his beard, deflates it and then puffs it up again. Is this normal behavior? What does it mean?

I also see that after mealtime and consider it to be burping/digesting. It can also be shed related as mentioned. Either way I consider it to be normal and common behavior.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
