Weekend alone for beardie

I have a beardie as a school pet. He is a juvenile, it is his first week at school and he is doing well. However, I am not sure if I should leave him alone for the weekend, I am worried about feeding him. Any ideas, or do you think I should bring him home on weekends?

An adult would be fine alone over the weekend as long as there is a fresh salad left and the lighting is on timers. A younger one needs to be fed more frequently so I would put together a duplicate setup at home if possible and bring him back and forth over the weekends. I'm sure he'd enjoy the extra interaction too. If that's not possible, you could give him a nice big meal and leave a salad before you go and have a morning meal ready for him when you return.

I am a teacher and just got my bearded dragon last week to introduce to my classroom soon. Mine is about 6 months old and I will be taking him home on weekends. I have a tank at home and can just transport him in a small cat carrier with a water bottle. I was told once he gets older I can leave him at school over the weekend with a lot of salad and a feeding before I leave, but to be honest I already love him to much to leave him for 2 days by himself.
I have not brought him into the classroom yet, for fear of stressing him out too much on his first 2 weeks with me. When did you introduce him to the class?

I brought him to school when he was about 2 months old, I sometimes let the kids pet him, but I hold him and I make them wash hands before and after. They love to watch him chase crickets!

Sounds great. Mine is about 6 months old, but has only been with me for 2 weeks. I decided to take him after the holidays. I have grade 5s that are my zookeepers (had to apply), and they will clean the cage, give him a bath and be allowed to handle him. For the rest, they can hold over time and with washing hands a lot.
Thanks.

Hello, I have a quick question.
I brought my bearded dragon to school after being at home with me for a month. He is about 5months old. He was very happy at my house.
The first few days, he was fine, basking, I held him, watching he kids, etc. After 2 days he started hiding in his cave. He has now been hiding in there for 3 days. I am not sure what to do, do I leave him, or force him out a bit for me to hold him and comfort him? He has flared his beard at me a few times too. I am getting very worried about him.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
