We lost our baby this morning!!!

Its a very, very sad day today.

Knuckles wasn't very well last night at all, she wasn't responding to much, we kept her topped up with calci shots and buttersquash ready to go to the vets today.

Unfortunately when we woke, she had passed

we have only had our little girl for about 6 years. and she's not had the best 6 years due to her laying eggs constantly etc...

We have gave her our all and tried to make her time with us the best we could.

I'm going to miss her so much! She's always been a part of mine and my partners life together. we got her when we first got together, so she's always been there.

She is the most gorgeous perfect girl.

I am sure most of us here understand. I had an 8 yo, I had adopted/rescued. He wasn't kept in the best of conditions, old school, lacked proper foods, UVB, and room.. On the 27th of Dec, 2008 Tanker passed in our arms. I couldn't even bear to look at his tank, so gifted it to a new ps that can use it for holding feeders.
Now I have arriving today, 2 8 wk old babies , and next weekend a 3 footed adoptee !
It will always hurt, but time is a great healer.

Thanks for your kind words....Its so sad.

We had her viv off for a couple of days. I was alright until I kept looking at it and remembered all the little cheeky things she'd be doing. Then remembering she's outside int he cold, all alone...hate the thought.

But she's buried nicely, with lots of bedding to keep her warm and safe. Hope she will be alright.

Will pot a lovely plant on top of her and call it Knuckles when the weather gets a touch nicer.

She will always be with us and miss her greatly.

On the other note, my other half was so upset seeing the viv empty, i felt awful for him as Knuckles was his little baby girl. so we cleaned out her viv and made it all nice, and we've just purchased 2 frilled dragons. I know Knuckles is irreplaceable, and I feel it maybe to soon to get someone else in HER home. but it felt so right today to see Ben smile

They are absolutely gorgeous. Not named them yet. want to think of a couple of good names. will post photos when they have settled down in their new home.
