Hey guys. My girl is a very picky eater, sometimes wants one feeder other days turns her nosr up to it. I cant afford to keep buying all these different buggies to have on hand for the princess, so i bought some supers, crickets, waxworms and dubias and made setups for each at an attempt to breed. Im still waiting on dubias to mature (dumb mistake of buying the size small enoigh for her to eat some, forgetting they have to be adults yo breed), crix are just starting to mature so i have heat and a nesting box in there now, my supers are all separated and beginning to morph to "aliens" and my wax worms have been hatching moths, about 15 so far, and a couple already died off. Now my question is how can i tell if they laid eggs? I have a couple crumbled waxpaper balls in one of the plastic "critter carriers" with pantyhose (lol) over the top. All i see on the wax paper is what looks almoat like brown liquid, but its hardened. Its on the sides of the container and on the paper. Is yhis the eggs? There seems to be more everyday (brown stuff) but i dont see any white specs or anything. I tried googling what was moth eggs look like,but nothing. Also, another problem is the guy i bought the worms from told me to put them in wood shavings as substrate, and thats what they came in so i kept them in that. It wasnt until after i had moths that i realized i need the bran and honey bedding, but dont know how to switch it. A moth is already loose in my room lol. I wanted to know, if what im seeing is eggs, if i can transfer them so i can put the bran down. Or i can put it over the shavings, but because its so sticky im worried about any more moths that may hatch may not be able to get through it, and with that and shavings in a small container i may not be able even find/see any babies! Ugh, dilemma!!
sorry im rambling, so my questions are;
What the heck does wax eggs look like?
How long do they take to hatch?
And opinions on what i should do about the shavings.

..and i thought breeding bugs would be a peice of cake!
Who the heck was i kidding?!

So ANY help/advice/opinions would be greatly appriciated by me, my bank account and my princess Lola ;)

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
