Until we find the time to build our own viv - or on the off-chance that someone pays to have a triangular one built for me/Wave at Christmas, *hint hint hint to my whole family* - we got Wave a 40-gallon, since she's reached 10" and that, to me, seems worthy of a big-girl home! I used her name as inspiration for the decoration - if I can find the time (again, where does it all go?!), I'm going to paint a background for her, with the same undersea theme, or maybe just get some of the aquarium background paper from Petsmart. It's still a work-in-progress, but I wanted to show off what I've found for it so far!
"What's this?"
"This isn't home..."
"I feel so small!"
"...Oh, well, might as well take a look around."
"Have to make the best of these things, don't we? Oh, hello, giant lobster."
"Wait... is this...? IT'S THAT WARM LIGHT! MY WARM LIGHT! I LOVE MY WARM LIGHT!"
"Alright, lady, enough with the pictures. Go away. I found my light."
And there she sits.
(Actually, she's going to bed in about 10 minutes, but don't tell her that!)
"What's this?"
"This isn't home..."
"I feel so small!"
"...Oh, well, might as well take a look around."
"Have to make the best of these things, don't we? Oh, hello, giant lobster."
