Watery eye?

So i was bathing my dragon today. She was drinking the water in her tub and after about a minute and a half I gently lifted her out of her tub (I'm leery about letting my dragon drink too much after hearing stories of dragons dying from too much water intake...). I noticed her right eye looked very watery, and slightly cloudy (not enough to alarm me). After I set her in a towel to dry, I saw that the liquid in her eyes had spilled over and down her cheek. She seemed to blink that eye a lot afterwards.

I've noticed the same eye get watery every time she eats, whether it's worms or salad. Her other eye has never gotten watery. Both eyes appear clear and vivid in color otherwise.

Why does her eye get watery, though? Is it just a reflex from holding her breath while eating or drinking? And if so, why doesn't her other eye get watery?

If you can, take a look inside her mouth. My beardie had one watery eye and it was caused by an infection inside her mouth that was pushing on the eyeball. If the mouth is fine, then you can rule out mouth infection and concentrate on the eye symptoms!

Hmm...she eats just fine, even superworms don't seem to bother her. It's been going on for a while, so I'm not sure about the mouth infection, but I'll be sure to check tonight.

I noticed it's also on the same side as her deformed nostril, and since the eye and nose are somewhat connected...might have a connection to her watery eye, who knows. :dontknow:

Yes there is possibly a connection to the deformed nostril. My beardie would eat normally, but had a bump between her lip and nostril, and a watery eye. At one point she opened her mouth wide and I say a mass of flesh hanging from her palate. I took her to the vet and found out everything was connected.
So I would suggest that you take her to a vet, especially since she has a deformed nostril. Something could be going on in there...
