Water proofing inside wood enclosure

Hello folks :)
I just got my first beardie about 1 month ago and as of right now he's stuck in a 20 gallon tank :( but I'm currently in the process of building a 48"x24"x24" enclosure. I have already layed the tile and sealed it but my concern is whether I should seal the inside of the tank with some kind of water proof sealer, since I mist him every morning. I used Birch plywood and the only pine (which I've sealed with mod podge) are the 2x4's. Any thoughts?

He actually shouldn't be misted while inside his enclosure because it could raise the humidity too much which can cause an upper respiratory infection. Do make sure it has many vents though and having a screen lid can become useful.

Yes, you can certainly bathe him every other day, in fact, if he really enjoys his bath, you could give him a short one daily.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
