Actually, they do need water.
Bearded dragons can become dehydrated without water, especially since they are basking in the heat most of the day.
Some people use water dishes, while others don't. It is a personal preference.
Most beardies will not drink from standing water. This is why it is very important that we as their caretakers make sure they get water in other ways.
Bathing/soaking your beardie in water a few times a week is one of the best ways to keep them
hydrated. They absorb moisture through their vent.
You can also add water to their veggies for added moisture. Some people even give their beardies water through a dropper or syringe.
