Water bowl or no water bowl?

So I have done quite a bit of research into all the things I need for a bearded dragon. One thing I've run into that seems to be debated here and there is having a water bowl in the tank.
Some people say it raises the humidity too high, others say your beardie should always have access to water and it's cruel to not let them have it when they want it.
I was just wondering what you guys have to say on the matter. Reading through this forum has really helped me as a new beardie mama.

I feel that the risk of an upper respitory infection isn't worth having a water bowl in the tank. On the other hand as long as the humidity stays in a good range the water shouldn't pose an issue. I think that if you are able to offer drips of water a few times a day that's sufficient and your Beardie shouldn't need a water bowl. Also, from what I understand, some beardies don't drink from still water. All in all, my personal preference is the drips of water a few times a day over a water bowl. Hope this helps :)

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
