Not sure if this is really anything to post about, but I was just curious so what the heck eh?

I was walking around outside and had my dragon with me, he was on my chest clinging to my shirt and looking up at my face. If I turned my head he'd move from one side to the other to keep a watch on me. It seemed ike he might have been staring at my eyes, he seemed to be following them. If I moved fast, he moved fast, if I was slow, he was slow.

Has anyone had their dragon do that? I was thinking maybe he thought my eyes were bugs (maybe I look bug eyed *snicker*) and thinking about a snack.

I think it may be a comfort thing. One of my beardies does that everytime I take him outside, not to the extent you're describing but he keeps his eyes on me. Its kind of like he's unsure of his surroundings and what's going on so he keeps his eyes on what he knows. They also stare up at the sky a lot, I always assumed looking out for prey birds.

If you're outside, odds are he's keeping track of your eyes because he knows you'll likely see any danger first and let him know. Must be nice to have a giant warm monster to ride on and protect you from those evil birds flying around. :p

lately my beardie wants me in site at all times when he is outside.
i have a harness i made for him, and i just leave him to run around while i do yard work.
he'll run a few feet away from me then stop and watch me. he'll move to the other side of the yard with me. and twice now he has followed me inside. which was hysterical and cute. i only went inside to get a drink!

My girl does that all the time, When she is in her viv she watches me all the time when I am in my room or when I walk in the room its like she is watching the door all the time waiting for me. I put her on the bed or in the window in my room, and she alway has her eyes on me. I put her on my hand and move my hand back and forth and no matter how I turn my hand her eyes are always on me, She turns her head so her eyes are on me. Kind of funny sometimes. She gives me the stink eye when I laugh at her for doing that

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
