When I got home this morning my power was out and my baby was hiding on his cold slate tile he was flat and black.
he is doing better he is yellow and movig now eyes open but I want to know the best way to make sure he is alright and to keep him warm without being to hot to fast he is under my shirt with a heating pad over me at a friends house
when is it good to try and feed him? I have some baby food so he has easy food to eat.

I tried to give him a warm bath shortly after I found him but it caused him to shake horribly. Now he will sometimes open only 1 eye and sometimes half open the other it worries me

how long was the power out for and what temperature was the environment when you found him? I hope he is doing better now!

Warm him slowly, under your shirt with a heat pad is good, but dot forget that he needs uv. You'll want to watch out for respiratory issues, depending on how long he was cold, and how cold it was.

I'm glad he's doing ok. Watch for the signs of respiratory infection. Gaping outside of his basking spot, wheezing/gurgling are some of them. If you notice anything out of the ordinary it's probably a good idea to head to the vet.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
