Warm Weather = Lecherous Lizard!

We have had a sudden surge of warm weather here. Temps went from -20c (-5f) to 9c (40+f) literally overnight! This caused a sudden surge in hormones in what had been a brumating dragon. Glass dancing, black bearding and puffy beard gaping, followed by foot stomping and ... Ooooo, poor Puppy! Of course, like most males, once he's done, he wants FOOD!

Izzie is now exhausted and passed out, clutching his Puppy. The temperature is dropping again and I think he's just remembered a good dream he wants to finish. Nightie-night, my little lech!

OMG, our heat wave is pushing temps to 70 degrees by the end of the week, and Invictus is out of brumation. I'm scared.

Well, he's still up and about! Looks like I've managed to survive his brumation "time-out". Now I need to go shopping, as I've had to toss his worms (started stinking!) and all of his salad is gone. I only have a couple pieces of butternut squash left in the house and that will only last the day!

At least Puppy is safe. Izzie is more interested in pictures of lush, lizard ladies in Photo Expressions!

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
