Wanting to mate and pooping lots?

Hey there, so my bearded dragon that is 8 years old is currently in mating season (wall climbing, head bobbing, very active) and she's been pooping a lot more than usual. She is pooping usually once or twice a day when usually it's 2-3 times a week. For instance she just pooped and it was nothing but a small amount of uric acid. Could she be trying to keep the cloaca "clean" for mating? She hasn't done this before so I'm not sure what's going on. Thanks for any input you can give.

Her equipment is as follows:
Tank size: 55 gal
Substrate: towels
UVB: reptisun 10.0 (24 inch)
Heat light: exo terra intense basking spot 150w

Hi there....it's possible that she's already carrying infertile eggs [ they can develop them even without mating ] and is looking for a place to lay them. Just to be on the safe side you can set up a lay box for her. If you never have done that before there is info about it in the breeding subforum at the top of the page.
