Want To Re-Do My Encloser..

Hey guys,
I was looking at another members of the forum and I seen there tank and I LOVED IT!, it was pretty amazing I havn't seen many better then that.. Uhmm, Ive also noticed a lot of tanks including this one I just seen has tile?
Question... what is so good with tile? :S I was going to get desert sand but then seen this and said to myself "Hey.. I have some pretty nice tile left over that we did my house with" so I went and got it and SHOOT, wrong enough peices, bad sizes :| Im guessing I would have to go to Home Depot and pay for them to cut my tile to the proper size? Or is there a common house-hold saw that I could use?.. Also would I have to use cement to hold them together or just get them cut to fit snug and keep it without using anything to hold them together ?
I think im going to make the fake rocks too, but Im just asking this before I do it.. I kind of wanted to make like.. a high bed for Kylee, with stairs leading up, if I put a nice comfy and soft blanket type thing there would a bearded dragon naturally be attracted to going there in the night time and sleep? (Obv there is no like, proof that this is true but I mean.. anyone done this and relized it has actually worked?)

Please help me out, trying to make my Beardy love everything he has (Including me still atm ) Thanks guys,

I LOVE TILE! It files the beardies nails, is easy to clean, cheap (especially since you have left over tiles) and no risk of impaction unlike loose substates (e.g. walnut shells, sand...). I would see if home depot would do it, if not.. you can get them for 50 cents to a dollar at least.

I don't grout them or seal them at all. That way with Spot dirties the tile, I can just take out one clean and sanitize it rather than taking it all out.

On the "care sheets and articles" button at the top, there is a nice tutorial of how to build a nice healthy fake rock!

hey the nice thing about tile is you dont have to replace it it looks nice and most of all its easy to clean and it dosnt hold all the bad stuff like sand i mean bacteria and also for young beardies sand is not the best yea it looks cool and i got pulled in to this with my first one to but it can cuz impaction and back your beardie up and can kill them so its not worth the chance it also holds heat good

Okay guys thankss,
I decided to go out and get tile.. I am not sticking it in because yeah, it would be easier to be able to just take it out and clean it when it needs to be aha.
I got luckyy though, nice looking tile was on sale.. $1.59 at Home Depot, bought it expecting to have to cut atleast one peice, nope.. all went in PERFECTLY aha.

still working on the set up, want to make it more playful for Kylee..

&& This is Kylee, Im kinda angered because I actually forgot to ask for her age when I got her as a baby.. which is kind of a pi$$ off..

Im gunna be making fake rock so hopefully that goes all well hah,
lmk what you guys think about the tile? :O

It looks nice. Where did you get that background? I need to put something up in Oscar's viv and I love that one. I only ever see the usual ones for fish tanks (with an underwater scene).

Any normal pet shop that carries reptiles SHOULD have them?.. I got mine in AJAX ONTARIO at a pet store called Mister Pet, but I dont know if they are all over the place but I do know that PJ Pets is everywhere and they will have them for sure
