"Wall dancing"

Hey guys,

Everybody's heard about glass dancing and most of you experienced it too.
My baby is quite active and glass dances a lot.Especially in the evening.He runs from on corner to the other one.His nose on the glass all the time.Sometimes he ducks and peeks,ducks and peeks.
Now the weird thing is,that when we put him out so he can explore the room and climb on us,he now always runs to the wall and then he "wall dances" there for quite a while.Running back and forth along the wall. And man,he is soooo fast.
Does anybody have an idea WHY hes so "wall/glass focused" even though he has the whole room to run and play around?
Most of the time he doesnt slow down and you can hear his head/nose "smashing" into the wall.Can that actually harm him?

My Tsam throws himself at the glass when he gets excitable so hard it literally goes BANG! BANG! BANG! The worst he gets is a bruised bottom lip scale (it'll turn speckly black).

Most dragons learn this trick because it means their human pays attention to them. Jam has figured out if she goes "CLUNK!" and then squeaks her claws on the glass a couple of times, I'll let her out. Sandy just peeps through the glass and waits patiently for someone to let her out.

It's often the young males that SERIOUSLY get into glass dancing.
Another thought - can he see his reflection?

Thanks for your answer.Im glad to hear that other Beardies arent bothered by any glass in their way either.

I actually really hope that hes a male.I mean Id still love him with all my heart if it turns out that hes a girl,but idk.We just always talk to /about him like hes a boy. He just IS a boy to us Cant actually wait to sex him. What age/length is recommend?

And yea,he can see his reflection most of the time.But sometimes hes totally relaxed and chilling on his rock etc even though hes seeing his reflection.But then in the evening he mostly starts glass dancing.But doesnt show any stress marks while doing it.
And he does the same with walls when he is outside of his cage.He runs back and forth along the wall and sometimes he even tries to "climb" the corner.Without seeing any reflection or shadows.
Its just weird

You should be able to reliably sex him at 6 months, but probably you'll be able to tell earlier. If the bottom under his tail is almost flat with a teeny central bump, it could go either way so it's too young to be totally certain, if he has the 2 male bumps then he is definitely a boy, and if there's a central bump that is really big it's almost certainly a girl. Some boys show clearly at just a couple of weeks, but generally they are a bit more ambiguous until they are bigger.

All three of mine glass danced and wall danced as babies. They only do it once in a while now that they are getting bigger. I kind of miss all the baby beardie "shananigans" and odd positions they got themselves into.
