hi guys...only my 3rd post here, but i will be posting pictures of all the things i've done soon enough. but i wanted to finish off a few minor projects first.
i built a basking platform with styrofoam and grout, and i'm going to use mod podge on that today to seal it and let it cure over the weekend. i also built a smaller platform that he can hang out on that is on the other side of the tank that is cooler. i wanted to connect the two in some fashion, but did not want more grout or styrofoam...my garage is an absolute mess. lol so i was thinking of putting in maybe 3 inch long pieces of bamboo into the back wooden wall that he could walk across to get from one platform to the other. any ideas of the easiest way to attach these to the wall? just liquid nails and let them sit over the weekend? drill them in with small screws at an angle? any help is appreciated.
also, this may sound silly or stupid...but i had a thought of getting a ping pong/table tennis net and using that as an extra long hammock walkway between the two...but i'm just not sure how that would hold up, or i'd be worried he'd get tangled up in it while i was at work. lol
suggestions or ideas? thanks! I will be posting pictures once this is all done.
