Hello everyone!!!

Well fingers crossed that Gretchen has finally woken up from Brumation as of yesterday afternoon. She got a nice bath, weighed in at 367 grams (total loss of weight since she went down is only 20 grams and shes looking great, IN MY OPINION) and then Gretchen sat on the cat tree and had her first glimpse of the outside world. It was a whopping humid 21 degrees celcius yesterday here in Montreal, FINALLY and she enjoyed every minute of her window time!!!
She went back in her enclosure and did NOT crawl into her hut like she normally does. Was still out sleeping/basking on her hammock this morning. Left her some apples and carrots (had no greens on hand today) before i left for work. If shes still up when i get home and tomorrow morning ill pick up some critters for her!
So lets see if shes still out and about when i get home tonight after work. It's been a long and boring 4 months without her.
Enjoy some pictures of her from yesterday!

I don't think a vet is needed. She isn't losing weight and looks quite healthy. Might just take a few false starts for her to wake back up for good.

Yah I'm very confident with that and everything you help me with. I just was surprised he said that lol like what the heck

It's usually good to default to vet care and it's safe advice from that perspective. I just don't think there is much for a vet to do and it'd be a waste of money at this point. Good to bring her in for a wellness visit sometime after she wakes up and gets back to her routine though.

Yah for sure. Was thinking about doing that just to be sure. Gave her tank a new background today. I'll post a picture soon. A nice surprise when she wakes up!!!

Hello,

Gretchen looks very good for just waking up! Sometimes it just takes a bit when they are
down for awhile, for them to get up & going. She has great colors, too! :D
I agree, I don't think she needs to see a vet at this point. Give her a bit more time & I am
willing to say that she will likely be up & running around in a week or two.

Thanks Tracie!!! I think so too. The weather forecast here for the next 10 days is supposed to be beautiful so hopefully she'll sense that!!!!

Gretchen went back down for a few days after i posted my last post and has since woken back up 2 days ago. She's been eating her crickets quite well. Veggies and fruits not so much ( had a few pieces of apple, strawberry and i think i piece of salad lol). Basked all day yesterday. This morning it was pretty gloomy outside and after she ate she crawled under her basking spot and layed on her rock.
I've ordered her some wormies which ill receive next week which will hopefully entice her to eat more veggies (fingers crossed) shes not the best with those lol

It's suppose to be super hot this weekend so im hoping to take her out on the balcony in her harness for some real Vitamin D. Won't lie, i turned her hide around so she couldn't go back in... ;)
She also got a new custom made enclosure background that she woke up to after our move last weekend which she was a champ for!!

Have a good weekend everyone!

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
