Waffles has been moody lately. I’m not sure if she is struggling with going into brumation, or if she is just mad she hasn’t been taken outside in a few days.
I know she is hungry for bugs because every time I get near her cage she looks at me then turns her head sideways. The bugs are kept in a container under the table her tank is on. She knows where they are! I keep telling her she has had her bugs and there is a nice salad Right There! Nope. Not what she wants! I have to leave her bug bowl in her tank for a few hours after she is fed because she gets clingy on it.
She has been running around her cage rubbing against everything and falling off her log when it rolls. Then I notice a whole bunch of face shed. Aha! That explains that behavior! She never stops shedding! Somewhere on her is always shedding!
Then she lies like a pancake all nice and dark on the cold side. Every Single Day. I pick her up and put her near the warm black hide and she seems like “oh! That’s right! There is a warm place!” This Dragon!
