VOTE FOR REGGIE! Results are out!

Hey guys!

Our local newspaper is holding a pet contest, where you enter a pic of your pet, they print it in the newspaper, and the public can vote on which one they like best. So far, it's all dogs and cats (and one pig), so I figured, why not? I grab a picture of Reggie from my file, and send it.

So far, my aunt and my uncle are voting for him, and so are their coworkers! Of course, I still have to get everyone else in my family to vote for Reggie, but at least we stand a good chance, especially with the attention he gets when we're walking down the sidewalk. Now I just have to walk up to the park, and when they say 'Oh, look at him!' I can say 'You can support him by voting for him in the Pet Contest in the paper!'

I guess we're the only reptile in the competition yet-- I at least want to beat the pig!

Round one ends June 19th. I won't be able to see the results until I am in Texas, because on June 19th I'll be on the Interstate with my father. I haven't seen him for a whoooollllle year. I iz excited!

If I remember correctly, your original goal was to beat the pig..check. Then the goal was to make it to round two..check.

I'd say that for his first "beauty" contest, he did fabulous! Unfortunately, most people are suckers for cute and fluffy. All I see is the hair that won't suck up in the vaccuum

Sorry Jacqui..... that Sir Reginald did not get into the top 10 He will always be a winner here on BD.ORG!

Oh well....Reggie is still young and will have many more pageants to enter down the road!

Even twentieth is pretty darn impressive. You beat so many dogs and cats and certainly showed anyone who looked at that webpage that beardie lovers are a force to be reckoned with I think Reggie gets major props for being the only non mammal in the competition and doing darn great too.
