I have 2 bearded dragons, juveniles.. They typically eat crickets, however a few times a month I give them meal worms. They have never had any issues with them. Yesterday both ate about 5 each, and then this AM they had 2 each. One of them vomited up a big pile of what looks to be all the meal worms it had consumed from yesterday and today. :puke: . Any idea what happened there?

That happened to me once with mine too. He's about 6 months. I think maybe the superworms were too big for him. After he threw up he was in the corner shaking... I gave him a warm bath and he felt better. You can try cutting the worms in half if they are too big.

Secretevo I know you said your beardies were juvies but may I ask how long your beardies are?
Also were these mealworms or superworms?
Mealworms have a much harder chitin(shell) than supers making it hard for your beardies to digest.
(shouldn't feed beardies mealworms)
If they were mealworms I suggest not ever feeding them to your beardies again.

If they were superworms maybe your beardies aren't quite big enough for them yet.
Also if your temps are to low this type of thing can happen as they need the UVB and warmth inorder to digest their food properly.

Are they doing okay now?

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
