i just realized i never posted pics of my new dragon's cage here.
this is a pic of the cage when i first brought it home from the pet store:
it was filthy; the sand was filled with old poop, shed, dead dried out crickets... the only furniture they had was that dirty log(ive since removed it), which forced them to lay on eachother while basking. all they had was a 50watt heat light smack dab in the middle of their tank with no UV.
here are some pics of their new setup:
it is mostly slate tiles cut to fit the cage. there are small areas of outdoor carpet in the cave and the center of the tank.
i oredered them a reptisun 10.0 that spans the entire length of the enclosure. over the cave i placed a 60watt Zilla day-white for basking. there is also a regular 36" flourescent tube spanning the length of the tank to brighten everything up.
they made the transition quite smoothly. they love their new tank, i think they appreciate the extra room provided by the cave area. the raised cave forces them to get some exercise by pulling themselves up onto it. this new cage setup is really easy to clean. the cave is wedged into the tank pretty well but if they poop on it im able to take it apart to clean everything. they spend most of their time ontop of the cave during the day. when they want to cool off they slip under the cave and lay on the carpet or the tile right outside the cave. they dont usually go over to the other side of the tank except to eat and to poop.
if all goes well, the next picture i post here will be of them in a 100 gallon tank. my brother in law has one for me, i just need to make room for it at my house. with all that space they would be in paradise, i could put almost anything in that size tank.
hope everyone likes the setup. comments or questions are welcome  .
p.s. if your wondering why they are housed together in such a small tank please read the first post on this thread:
