Working on a Viv/stand combo and was wondering where are you guys getting the sliding glass door track from? I have looked everywhere locally and can't find the stuff.

When we made Tashi's viv, my hubby went to our local hardware store and bought a "dual u-track" for the sliding glass/plexiglass doors. I'm not sure where you are, but I would think Home Depot or Lowe's or Menard's would have something like it.

I should mention too, that the top of his viv extends up, but you can also take the individual pieces of plexiglass right out of the track with the top down. It's super easy to clean that way!

Where did you find your background? I'm building a viv with the same dimensions but can only seem to find backgrounds that are 19"tall..

This is Castiel's viv so far. Its just a 30l tank that came with the bearded dragon kit we got from PetCo. Sorry the pic is so small. Cas seems to enjoy it. I just added in the stacking rocks and log and a climbing branch that he looooves to perch on.

Hers is Izzy's crib, still looking into other decor but its not to shabby, he seems to like it

Does the uvb position look okay? The basking light sits in the corner so I was hesitant to place the uvb directly over his basking area and under the light. :|

The UVB should be directly over the basking area for maximum benefit. It won't melt or anything.

So the heat won't melt the plastic fixture the uvb is in? I will def get it moved then, want the best for my Izzy

I seen some directly over and some not so I wasn't for sure what to do and went with what seemed safest, :?

Here is an update on Braxton's cage, as we've made some improvements and the cabinet underneath is all finished.

Installed puck lights with halogen bulbs (love them, since they're so low profile and you can put them wherever they're needed).

A good pic of the bottom done except for the side very bottom doors aren't installed yet (I love the lizard and leaf handles)
