Just got my beardie two days ago. Tank is pretty boring as of now, but im gonna get to work on some custom platforms this week.

The new vivs I built for my dragons. After about a month they are finally finished.

This one is 5 ft x 2 ft x 2 ft

This one was going to be a stand for the other one but it was smaller than I thought it would be and looked awkward with the other one on top of it.

I've finally finished the viv! Yay!

Here is the whole viv. It's stackable. Figment's going to be living on the top, but his isn't complete yet, so there is no light on in there. I will post again when his portion is finished.

Fluffy's interior

This is her hammock and dig box. The dig box is removable so that the sand can be easily dumped and changed out whenever I need, and underneath works as a nice hide for her. The hammock is installed with eyebolts in the walls and I sewed the edges with ribbon so it can be tied on with pretty little girly bows.

The warm side of her viv has multiple levels so she can get herself in just the right temperature. Also the soft little sofa in the center is her favorite place to hang out.

And here is Fluffy enjoying her sofa. It's a nice little L shaped "sectional sofa" with a pillow in the corner that she likes to rest her chin on some days.

This is our set up. Any suggestions before it is occupied?

The light we have is a ZooMed Powersun that provides uvb, light and heat all in one. Is that enough?

Wow, I just looked at the last 2 pages of vivs to catch up on everyones projects, alot of you are new to B.D.org, so welcome. :wave:

I just have one suggestion, many of you have viv items balancing against the wall or ledge, please be careful, as your beardie grows, they get very active, jumping from one thing to another, and your item may fall if it's not stable and cause an injury, just a humble suggestion. Keep up the great job everyone, it's fun to look at everyone's handywork!

Thanks for the heads up Christine. Although it may look like a ramp is balancing, the only thing not bolted into Fluffy's viv is the cushion for her sofa and the dig box itself. :wink: And a tip for people wanting to add ramps for their beardies to climb... hinges make the best thing to bolt them in with. That way you get the perfect angle without trying to bend an L bracket to the angle you need.

First, welcome to BD.org, :wave: Your viv looks great, but I don't know what is on the floor that's loose? It's not recommended to use anything but paper towel, reptile carpet or tile. It looks like you already have a tile floor which is great! Also be careful of the light, I can't tell how far it's away from the log..........Beardies tend to jump and you don't want him/her to get burnt...........

Yes, the floor is tiled, I got some loose bark cover because it seemed like the tile was getting awfully hot (slate), so I tried to keep it all around where the basking light hits, I know its not really reccommended, but I didn't want to get sand, I figure these chips seem big enough to deter from eating them . The light is 6 inches away from the log at least... im trying to decide if I am going to tweak the position still

I know what you mean about things getting hot.........Have you checked the temp in the viv with the light you have in there now? My suggestion is to remove the bark and and put a stuffed animal or white paper towel right where the light points.

Definately move the light, .............6" is too close to the beardie with the UVB's or high wattage heat lamp, the only light you can have 6" from a beardie is the Reptisun 10 flourescent tube lights, the others are way too hot. Hope this helps.
